I think these guns are great but I heard they go off when you drop them. Is that true or is Glock just mad they lost the M17 contract?

Yes, they're drop-safe now. They did a recall and everything. If you buy one, go on Sig's website and you can run your SN to make sure, and if it's not, they'll fix it for nothing.
