CVA Scout Capacity

The CVA Scout is a break-action, single-shot rifle and can only be chambered with one round at a time.  To load the Scout V2, press the lever under the trigger guard and allow the barrel to drop and expose the chamber.  Load a round into the chamber and return the barrel to its original position.

The Scout weighs 7.5 pounds unloaded and has a length of 41.5 inches.  Its lack of protruding features and contours allow this rifle to be easily carried through dense brush while its light weight prevents it from weighing down the user while hunting.

CVA Scout Ergonomics

Ergonomics
The Scout maintains a very traditional profile with its Monte Carlo style stock.  The comb on the stock gives a very comfortable sight picture when using the available iron sight barrels and gives a cecent cheek weld when using optics.  The hammer and action lever are easy to reach by most hands.

CVA Scout Fit & Finish

The Scout rifle is available with a matte black or stainless steel finish on its frame and barrel while the trigger and hammer components are finished in a black surface treatment.  The stock and handguard are made of a black composite material and are very sturdy with a heavy checkering to allow for a controlling grip.
