The Strafer Mark 4 Model 0 is Piper's Precision Products AKA P3's best Strafer yet and is an evolution of the classic original. It has not only met the design goals of Strafer and M-134A2 Vulcan Minigun creator Paul Piper but has far exceeded it. This very well may be the world's fastest firing, if not the ultimate airgun in terms of firepower! The Strafer Mark 4 Model 0 is capable of rates of fire as high as 150 - 175 round per second or 9,000 - 10,500 rounds per minute! A larger diameter hopper cap allows for easier and faster reloading than previous original Mark 2 models and the extended improved hopper holds more BB's than any P3 product to date - over 7,200 rounds in 6mm or an incredible 9,600 rounds in 4.5mm / .177! A DB Customs Tightbore barrel allows for greater range and accuracy over the original and effective accuracy on a human-sized target is 75 yards with a maximum range of 125 yards. The airgun is constructed of aircraft grade T6061 aluminum, allowing it to have a better ergonomically design over its Mark 2 predecessor such as a true pistol grip design with a traditional trigger placement, more compact shape and comfortable profile and better balance. The material construction and anodized finish gives it better structural soundness and durability from harsh environment and rough abusive use as is often experienced in law enforcement and military use. Optional hard points can be ordered at the time of purchase to permit the mounting of optional rails for accessories such as flashlights, lasers, vertical foregrips, sling mounts, and bipods and/or to mount an optional off-center scope mount for optical devices. This allow the Strafer to be customized to an infinite variety of mission requirements to fulfill the user's needs. The muzzle has 14mm negative or counter-clockwise threading for muzzle accessory attachment and an optional limited edition flash hider is also available which slides over the muzzle assembly and doubles to protect the threads from damage or wear. The muzzle assembly can also be removed and re-installed backwards into the weapon to protect the threading also. And for the first time there is also a safety button and available soon as a user installed option, a unique setting that bleeds off the air flow to reduce muzzle velocity by half without the need of switching air regulators. This permits the gun to be used safely at closer ranges upon a target where the full muzzle velocity may be more harmful. The Strafer's power source is an external air supply which can either be in the form of a compressed CO2 or High Pressure Air (HPA) or Dry Nitrogen (NO2) tank or an air compressor. An inlet fitting at the bottom of the pistol grip allows for quick attachment of a 1/4"/6.35mm airline which in turn is connected to the air tank with regulator attached or into the 150 PSI or lower air compressor. Despite the high rate of fire, the Strafer actually is very economical with its air supply consumption and requirements and a full hopper worth of BB's usually requires less than a 20oz worth of CO2 in tests. Portable CO2 Packages sold below allow for complete portable use of the Strafer and the 2.5 lb tank can be easily stored in a backpack or most commonly used law enforcement/military tactical vests. The Portable Packages include one 2.5 lb CO2 tank, one regulator to the velocity of your preference (Please state the velocity within 25 FPS and using what caliber and weight BB) and one 2.5' 1/4"/6.35mm airline. Additional regulators are available to allow for different velocities using the same portable package.
